Expect the ‘WOW’ factor when you visit the Sandbanks Boat Show this Weekend!

From the original founders of the ‘boutique’ inspired boat shows, Salterns Marina brings you once again an eclectic mix of over 70 new top boating brands plus a diverse line-up of marine products to excite you back out on the water.   

From the greatest luxury high-end British motor yachts including Fairline, Princess and Sunseeker to an extensive and unprecedented mix of sports cruisers, high performance craft, fishing boats, ribs including tenders, jet skis and associated marine products, this two-day event is a vibrant sea of boats, located in one of the most outstanding settings along the south coast.

New for 2014

  • Cranchi – synonymous with Italian style and sophistication, come and view the new Endurance 33.
  • Sealegs – this stylish amphibious Rib delivers a powerful all-terrain vehicle into a high-speed, ocean going craft – be amazed!
  • Cockwells  custom-build and restore beautiful classic yachts, launches and superyacht tenders. Come and view their modern and classic Duchy 27
  • Orkney Boats; builders of sea angling, commercial and leisure craft for over 40 years.
  • Highfield Ribs: aluminium tenders from 2.4 metres up to a 7 metre
  • Oceanmaster Powerboats: family sports boats
  • Sea-Doo (PWC) The new SPARK is playful and easy-to-ride – and price friendly too!  A great toy for all to enjoy.

Our trusty and dependable RNLI will also be in attendance where they will be hosting a free lifejacket clinic and give vital safety advice. Bring along your lifejacket and have it checked free of charge.

For motoring enthusiasts we welcome Porsche Centre Bournemouth who will debut the new Macan; the new compact SUV, along with the new 911 Turbo.

Plus, the film crew for the new series of Harbour Lives; ITV1’s series presented by Ben Fogle, will be on site.  Poole plays an important part in today’s marine industry.  Here they will get the opportunity to get to meet owners, new buyers and people in the trade to see why boating is important to the area’s economy, not to forget the fun aspect! 

 And after all that ‘oohing and aahing’ at boats we’ve plenty to tempt your taste-buds.  Back by popular demand is Timmy’s Pies with his ‘bad boy’ pies, all boxed up and looking splendid.  South West Fisheries provide the most fabulous freshly prepared fish and shellfish, all washed down with some real ale, champagne or fine wine from our new friends Upham Brewery.  With some welcome live entertainment this will surely bring a smile to your face and help kick start the boating season.
